Domaine Drouhin launched its winery in Oregon with the release of the Dundee Hills label in 1988. The entry level label has been the most widely circulated calling card for the Burgundy-based family’s efforts in helping to establish top quality Pinot Noir in the Pacific Northwest. Sourced entirely from the family’s estate vineyards, the 2014 Pinot is a ripe and juicy expression of Pinot that gains complexity from earthy and spice notes. This is an attractive Pinot Noir that’s drinking wonderfully right now yet has the structure to mature nicely over the next eight to 10 years.
