Vecchie Viti translates to “old vines.” The second release of Nipozzano Vecchie Viti Chianti Rùfina Riserva is produced from the oldest vines on the Nipozzano estate, Sangiovese and complementary indigenous varieties (namely Malvasia Nera, Colorino and Canaiolo).  Robust and age-worthy, this medium-bodied red delivers appealing dark fruit and spice notes with bright acidity that keeps things fresh and balanced from start to finish. The rich structure suggests it would be best enjoyed with hearty dishes such as baked pasta with a meat sauce or roasts.
