It’s a well-made, large volume dry red wine with distinctive juicy cherry and vanilla notes and some drying tannins on the finish. It's not likely to bowl you over with its complexity or nuance, but there's something to be said about the virtue of an honest-to-goodness, textbook model of California Cabernet that’s a solid any day of the week option.
