The follow-up to the 2016-17 InterVin Wine Awards gold medal winner, the 2014 flavourful and rewarding The Strapper Grenache Shiraz Mataro (GSM for short) sees Yalumba move from strength to strength. Much of the success of this wine is tied to its bold aromatic character that displays a pleasant array of mint, herbal and ripe red fruit notes. The three varieties are picked separately and fermented with indigenous yeasts in small batches in a combination of stainless steel and various  oak barrel formats (from small barriques to puncheons to foudres) in a bid to increase the finished wine's texture and complexity. The juiciness of the flavours and compelling fragrance truly impress.
