The 2020 Villages is a blend of declassified barrels from Hanck, Wismer, Saunders and Spencer-Morgan parcels. This was bottled earlier than than components selected for the single vineyard releases, which were left for longer aging. The result is a ripe and bright expression of pinot noir. The nose and palate present a mix of fruit notes with spice and a dry finish that makes for a rich, taut style. Should develop nicely. Drink now-2028. (90/100)
