A new addition to the Lehmann portfolio, The Barossan Shiraz is made in an unabashed rich and flavourful style. Grapes are sourced from some of the winery’s long-standing growers and represent different sub-regions in the Barossa. As a result, there are layers of fresh flavours suggesting ripe fruit (red and black), chocolate, pepper and savoury notes that add interest and enjoyment. The texture is remarkably smooth and well-rounded with fine tannins that make this ready to drink now, but with a capacity to age nicely over the next five to eight years. Released Dec. 9 through LCBO Vintages.
