Rosé was first added to the Krug portfolio in 1976, which was released in 1983. The 26th edition, which is coming to stores in Canada soon, is based around the 2014 harvest, with wines from seven years dating back to 2005 featured as part of the the blend. The base wine was made up of 44% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 26% Meunier.  In this glass, this is lively and light, with smoky and floral (rose hip) accents to the zesty citrus fruit at its core. The syle is impressive as it delivers the core of fruit expected from a top notch brut rosé as well as the elegance demanded by Krug's house style. Really engaging its youth, with tremendous potential to develop. Drink now-2032. Highly Recommended. (95/100)
