Sampled from a 200 mL bottle that came as part of the winery's new Equity Tasting Club kit, the 2016 Chardonnay Estate impressed with its summery tropical character. Sourced exclusively from the Allendale Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, this shows winemaker Alison Moyes' affinity for crafting wines with purity and finesse. Fermentation started in stainless steel tanks before being racked into French oak barrels, mostly older with a small percentage of new oak contributing vanilla and spice aromas and flavours. Lees stirring and barrel aging for 10 months helped to enhance texture and weight. Recommended. 780 cases.
