The latest release of Mondavi’s popular Napa Valley Fumé Blanc is a 85/15 blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon that draws fruit from celebrated vineyards in Stag’s Leap District (47% Wappo Hill Vineyard) and Oakville (53% To Kalon Vineyard). Ninety percent of the blend was barrel fermented, with the remaining 10 percent fermented in stainless steel prior to aging in French oak barriques. A white with tantalizing brightness, richness and complexity, its aromas and flavours suggest a winning mix of fruit, floral, oak and mineral notes that carry through to a mouth-watering finish. 18,185 cases.
